Elly (going to bed): "Dad, will you lie down and cuddle me for a little bit?"
Brandon: "Sweetie, I'm sick. If I lie down by you and cuddle you, I might get you sick."
(pause, while Elly thinks)
Elly: "Well...if you lie down by me, I might get you better."
