Shout out to Amanda

When Brandon and I first moved to California back in 2005, I became the Young Women's Laurel Adviser. One of my laurels was lovely and sweet, Amanda. Amanda was Elly's first official babysitter. When Elly was about a year old, I started tutoring a little boy from Moldova, helping him learn English. Amanda came and watched Elly twice a week. They both loved it. Pretty soon, Amanda told us that she was headed to BYU and we were sad that she wouldn't be around to babysit anymore. Then, Brandon decided to go back to school...and soon enough, we were headed to BYU also. Amanda and Elly picked up where they left off and Amanda was our stand by babysitter this whole year. Elly LOVES Amanda so much and can hardly wait to see her when I tell her she's coming. Well, Amanda is still is Provo for a little while longer, but Elly is now in Seattle (with us). When we get back to Provo, Amanda won't be at BYU anymore, so we had to say goodbye before we left. We hit our regular Costa Vida for lunch and took some pictures. We love Amanda and will miss her very much.
